About me

• Born in 1963 in Vlaardingen, a middle-sized town in the Netherlands.



• Today living in Ede and father of two teenage kids, a boy and a girl.



• Studies:
  - BA Financial Management, Royal Military Academy Breda;
  - MSc Applied Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam;
  - Master of Business Administration, Catholic University Leuven (Belgium);
  - PhD (underway), Utrecht University



• Work:
  - Royal Dutch Army: 1981 – 1993, but still active today as a reserve officer;
  - Getronics: 1993 – 2004;
  - Utrecht University of Applied Sciences: 2002 – today;
  - Van Aetsveld: 2004 – today.
